Furniture

To ensure your furniture arrives in perfect condition, we use a dedicated White Glove delivery service as standard. This involves:

-          Two-man delivery into a room of your choice

-          Our drivers unpack the product for you to inspect.

-          You will be asked to sign for the goods as received in perfect condition.

-          We take away and recycle any unwanted packaging

-          Free returns for all item(s) at point of delivery

Delivery timescales for all products are displayed on each individual product

 

Furniture Delivery

Where goods are in stock, our delivery team will send an email with a suggested delivery date which you will be asked to confirm or reject. Once confirmed:

-          The delivery crew will call between 8-10am on the day of delivery to introduce themselves and give you an anticipated 2 hour delivery window. If you are schedule for a 7-8am delivery, you will be called form the Operations office the evening before the delivery.

-          The delivery crew will also keep you updated throughout the day should there be any issues on the roads that could potentially change the anticipated delivery time

There are rare occasions where delays occur which are beyond our control. If, for any reason, we expect the turnaround to be greater than the timeframe specified, we will contact you by email or telephone to inform you as soon as we are made aware. If you don’t have an email address or you do not confirm your order by email, you will be contacted by telephone for confirmation.

Please note it is your responsibility to record your correct contact details on your original order.

Please note that our standard furniture delivery charges cover delivery to the UK mainland. If you require delivery to Northern Ireland, The Scottish Highlands and Islands, The Isle of Man, The Channel Islands or the Isle of Wight, please call us and we shall source a bespoke quote for delivery. Free delivery does not apply to these areas, due to the distances involved.

Please note that furniture orders are only dispatched as a complete order and when all items are in stock.

Please check the dimensions of the delivery address for access including doors, corridors and stairs and also the proposed location, to confirm that the product is the right size for your home so that we can deliver your order safely and successfully.

 

Furniture Returns

You can cancel at any point prior to your order being dispatched and you will receive a full refund.

If you change your mind after delivery, you may return the item in a saleable condition within 14 calendar days (starting from the day after delivery) for a full refund. In this instance, you will be charged a collection charge of £39.

Made to order products cannot be cancelled as these are specifically made for your order. These products can only be returned if they are faulty.

 

Furniture - Faulty Products

If you receive an item that you believe is faulty please email us with photographs of the piece(s) to support@alisonathome.com. Our team will assess the fault, liaise with our manufacturers and suggest the best course of action to resolve the issue. Where necessary, we will arrange collection of the item and either process a full refund, arrange for a repair or order a replacement.

 

Furniture Refunds

Please allow 10 days from when we receive your item back into stock for us to process your refund. This will be credited back to the card used on your original purchase. 

 

Accessories

Accessories Delivery

Accessories will be dispatched within 48 hours of receipt of your order and should arrive within 2-5 days after dispatch. Please therefore allow up to 10 days for delivery.

Accessories Returns 

You have the option to cancel prior to your order being dispatched and you will receive a full refund. Please contact us to check whether your item has been dispatched.

If you decide you'd like to return an item within 14 days of receipt, we will refund you the cost of the item(s) including the delivery charge. Please note you will need to pay for the cost of returning the item.

Please ensure that item(s) are returned in a saleable condition and where possible, with the original packaging.

Home accessories and soft furnishing products should be returned to the following address by insured, registered post:

Alison at Home, Elite Packing Services Ltd, Bridge Street, Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, PE16 6RD.

Damaged Items

If you receive an item that you believe is faulty please email us with photographs of the piece(s) to support@alisonathome.com. Our team will assess the fault and liaise with our manufacturers. Depending upon the specific circumstances, we will arrange collection of the item and either process a full refund, arrange for a repair or order a replacement.
